ELIGIBILITY: No purchase required to enter or win. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are aged 16 or older at the time of entry and who have “Liked” Modell’s Sporting Goods on the Modell’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Modells. Modell’s Sporting Goods, Inc., located at 498 7th Avenue, NY, NY 10018, is the “Sponsor” of the Contest. Employees of Sponsor and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each are not eligible to participate or win. This promotion is governed byUS law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law or regulation
How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Making a purchase does not improve entrant’s chance of winning. Entrants ages 16 or older (“Contestants”) must visit the designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store location as announced on the Modell’s Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/Modells) on Friday morning, December 23, 2011 between 9am and 12pm. The first person to arrive at the designated Modell’s store and repeat the “CODE WORD”, as also posted on Modell’s Facebook page along with the designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store location, to the Store Manager at that designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store location, will be deemed “Winner” of the Baltimore Vs. Cleveland Ticket Contest (the “Contest”), and therefore will win a set of Four (4) tickets to see the Baltimore versus Cleveland football game scheduled to be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 1pm, subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules. The contest will run from the time at which the designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store and “CODE WORD” is announced until the time when a winner is selected based on the guidelines set forth above, or, until 11am on Saturday, December 23, 2011, whichever occurs first.
Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive 4 tickets (Section 126, Row 14, Seats 12-15) to the Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns football game scheduled to be played at M&T Bank stadium in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday, December 24th 2011 at 1pm. (“Grand Prize”). The approximate retail value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is $500.
How to Win: On Friday morning, December 23, 2011 between 9am and 12pm a designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store location and “CODE WORD” will be announced at www.Facebook.com/modells.
The first person to arrive at the designated Modell’s store and repeat the “CODE WORD” to the Store Manager at that designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store location will win the Grand Prize. Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.
In the event of a “tie”, those eligible Contestants who are in a tie for the Grand Prize will each enter their name on a piece of paper for a random drawing to be conducted by the Store Manager at the designated Modell’s Sporting Goods store location. The Contestant’s name selected via such random drawing would then be deemed the winner.
All decisions of Modell’s Sporting Goods are final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion.
To Claim Prize: Modell’s Sporting Goods reserves the right to request valid identification and/or proof of age from winner. Failure to present such identification or proof of age will result in the disqualification of the selected entrant and preclude such selected entrant’s further participation in the contest. Winner is subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules. After verification of eligibility has been completed, the Grand Prize winner must complete, sign, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility Compliance and Release Form (“AECR” Form) that must be received by Sponsor by 11:00AM (ET) on December 24, 2011 before claiming prize.
General Conditions: This game is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. The sponsor of this contest is Modell’s Sporting Goods, Inc.498 Seventh Ave, 20th Floor,New York,New York 10018. Modell’s employees, and their families are not eligible to participate in this contest. Prizes are non-redeemable for cash and nontransferable. Anyone receiving a prize shall be responsible for all applicable local, state and federal taxes, fees and surcharges. Cash equivalents will not be awarded. Substitute prizes may be awarded at the discretion of Sponsor if prizes should become unavailable, in which case prizes of equal or greater value will be awarded. Winners agree that any prize is “as is” and “without Warranty”, and shall be subject to all applicable restrictions imposed by the suppliers of the prizes. Pursuant to Internal Revenue Service regulations, winners and, if applicable, parents or legal guardians of winners, of a prize with an estimated retail value of $600 or more will be sent an IRS-1099 form. Expenses not stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winner of the Grand Prize and his/her selected guest, will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Compliance and Release Form (“AECR Form”) certifying eligibility and compliance with these rules, agreement to hold harmless Sponsor from any liability arising out of use/acceptance of prizes and authorizing the use of their name, photograph, and likeness for advertising and publicity in any media now known or hereafter created. Sponsor reserves the right to utilize the name, voice and/or likeness of the winner in either Sponsor’s promotional activity without additional compensation and may publicize and/or broadcast any winner’s name, voice and/or likeness in connection with this promotion or any other Sponsor promotion. Non-compliance with the required forms will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize. Times and dates of the events are subject to change. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and the official rules. Winners agree to hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor and all affiliations against any and all liability, damages or causes of action however named or described, with respect to or arising out of entrant’s participation in the promotion or the use/misuse of the prizes awarded herein. These parties, their respective affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, and each of their owners, partners, directors, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns have no liability or responsibility for any personal injury, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from the participation in this contest, the acceptance, use or misuse of the prizes. Sponsor has not made and/or is not responsible for any representation, guaranty or warranty, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the receipt or any use of prizes. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcements of winners, the failure to receive faxed entries, or the distribution of the prizes.
If for any reason this contest is not capable of running as planned for causes beyond the control of the Sponsor, which causes corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest or to disqualify any individual (and void any entry or entries submitted by or tampered with by such individual). Entrants also agree that the Sponsor and their officers, directors, partners, employees, agents and affiliates are not responsible or liable in any way for the interception or use of information related to or resulting from entry in this contest.
In the event that a dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these Official Rules and Regulations, entrants agree that the dispute will be resolved in the courts of the State of New York and applying the laws of the State ofNew York. In the event of a conflict between these Rules and Regulations and the rules and regulations on any printed material, these Rules and Regulations shall prevail.
