On Friday, August 13th, the newly re-opened Modell’s Sporting Goods in Times Square was proud to host a NIKE sponsored event. In celebration of the World Basketball Festival, NBA Star Stephen Curry came in store for a  Q&A session. Curry was interviewed for 30 minutes by our emcee regarding training, NIKE products, and what it’s like to play for Team USA.

* Only one (1) pair of tickets will be available for prize. Seats are located in Section 111 for Boston Celtics game scheduled to be played on Friday, May 7, 2010 at TD Garden. Interested participants must arrive no later than 3:45pm to participate. Dice may be rolled once by each of the qualified participants, free of charge. On February 2, 2010 the William Tennant High School boys basketball team took on Pennsbury in a tightly contested battle. Modell’s was also on-site as part of our sponsorship agreement with Tennant to host “Modell’s Night”. Although Tennant lost 60-49, all fans in attendance had a great time thanks to the Modell’s tee shirt toss between each quarter, and the half time 3-point shoot out for a few lucky fans. All contestants received Modell’s gift cards for participating, and even the Tennant Panther go caught up in the “MO”ment by tossing some tee shirts to spectators.
