Last week Modell’s was able to participate in a 60 Seconds to Win game with Brockton High School Honor Role Students. Our team brainstormed and came up six different games for the school to participate in, including the Modell’s Dice Game. As usual, the Dice Game was the big draw!

The event began at 1pm sharp , with the school’s band playing for added excitement. During the Modell’s Dice Game, where students were able to roll the Mo’s Dice for prizes and gift cards, our team experienced a streak of winners! Four students won the dice game in a row! The winning students and crowd cheered!

Overall the event was a great time had by all! Lots of prizes and gift card were given out, students were rewarded for their hard work and dedication to their academic studies, and everyone had fun!

  

The presentation also included the announcement of a community fundraising program whereby Modell’s Bald Hill Road (Warwick) customers can make dollar donations in-store to either the city’s Department of Human Services, which administers the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” assistance program, or the Providence Rescue Mission, which has offered lodging and food to those displaced by the flood. For every donation, Modell’s will also donate $1 to either charity. (This runs through May 31, 2010).

Participation is limited to the first 150 people in attendance at the Modell’s store in Medford beginning 3:30pm on Thursday May 6, 2010. Interested participants must arrive no later than 3:45pm to participate. Dice may be rolled once by each of the qualified participants, free of charge. Subsequent rolls will be available for a $1 donation per roll, all proceeds benefiting the local Medford Pop Warner football league.
