Modell’s would like to congratulate Wendy E. of Odenton, MD for being voted the week two winner of the Memories Begin Here contest on Facebook! Wendy’s entry Skater Girl has won a $500 Modell’s gift card. She has designated another $500 Modell’s gift card to be given to the Gardens Figure Skating Club of Maryland.

Wendy and her daughter Regan, 9, met with the Arundel Mills Modell’s manager Dan Kearns, and Community Ambassador Jamal Jones for the gift card presentation. The second $500 gift card award was then presented to Chris, president of the Gardens Figure Skating Club in Maryland. Chris’ daughter Nomi, 15, came along for the presentation. My daughter was the youngest individual skater (age 8 ) in the 2008 US Figure Skating National Showcase competition. Her Light Entertainment program was one that she chose as a tribute to the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
