Don’t miss this chance to see some of the NBA’s and soccer’s finest athletes play a game of 8-on-8 soccer for charity this Wednesday, June 22nd at 6 p.m., as part of the 4th annual SHOWDOWN IN CHINATOWN. The Steve Nash Foundation, along with official athletic apparel sponsorships by Modell’s Sporting Goods and Adidas will host the game at Sarah Roosevelt Park in the Lower East Side of New York City. Superstars such as Steve Nash, Tony Parker, Grant Hill, Brandon Jennings, Jared Dudley, Claudio Reyna, Marcin Gortat, and Demba Ba, amongst many others will be showcasing their talents for FREE to those in attendance and all proceeds will be donated to benefit needy children around the world.
The Showdown in Chinatown is a free-to-the-public event located in Sarah D. Roosevelt Park (Chrystie St. and Stanton St.). Bleacher seating and standing room are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to come early to see what will be a highly entertaining game for a great cause!
